A brand new HTP Adjustable Tungsten Sharpener. This is the adjustable version of our Tungsten Grinder. It allows you to vary the angle of point on the tungsten from 10 to 30 degrees.
The HTP tungsten sharpener is the fast, easy; contaminate free way to sharpen your tungsten.  Don’t jeopardize that critical welding job by sharpening tungsten on your bench grinder, as other materials imbedded in the wheel will get transferred into your tungsten and contaminate your weld. And best of all, the HTP Tungsten Sharpener is portable, so you can easily take it right to the jobsite.  It operates on any 110 volt power source.
This exceptional unit puts the perfect point on your tungsten electrode every time, making it an affordable and portable alternative to grinders costing triple the price.  Plus you can use the sharpener to cut your tungsten (nice to remove the contaminated area when you have hit the tungsten with the filler rod) and flatten the tungsten (stops you from spitting the sharpened tip into the weld).
The tungsten grinder comes complete with collets for sharpening 1/16”, 3/32”, and 1/8” diameter tungsten.  If you need to grind .040” or .020” tungsten, optional collets are available.
The replaceable diamond wheel is double sided for long life, so when one side is worn out, you just flip it over and keep sharpening.  And it delivers precise longitudinal grinds for good arc starting.  The HTP Tungsten Sharpener also allows you to cut off contaminated portions of the tungsten, and gives you the option to “flat spot” the tip of the tungsten to prevent spitting the tip of your tungsten into the weld.
